Irregular shaped bathrooms

Rough-in is complete. We like to use a lot of blocking for future cabinets and towel holders. Ever need to deal with a loose towel bar? We don't like that. On to insulation! We are using a flash & batt system, and roxul insulation between interior walls as a soundproofing solution.  

We like to use engineered lumber for all cabinet and tiled walls to control what we can for the best outcome. These tiled walls will be exceptionally flat. 

While removing the existing flooring, we realized there was no insulation between the concrete slab and the finished floor. We removed the subfloor and applied two layers of rigid foam insulation and air sealed the perimeter. 

Maintaining a clean job site and protecting clients from construction dust, noise, and debris is our highest priority. 

Our client chose a 2 1/4 red oak flooring for the bedrooms and a staggered width red oak for the vestibule. All finished natural. 

Located on the interior of one of the bedroom closets. 

The engineered studs are really starting to pay off as the bathrooms take shape. We partner with Essex Flooring Co, the best tile setters around.
